The Leadership Quotient:

Teachers are always on the lookout for students who can be guided to step into leadership roles. At the investiture ceremony these students are then selected as Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains and Monitors. These students gain confidence since they serve as a link between the school authorities and the school body.

Our new school building has spacious & colourful classrooms. The school has a large multipurpose hall, a uniform store, an  indoor play area for KG students, a library, an audio visual room and a hygienic canteen. A huge canopy covers the courtyard and the playground. The morning assembly is conducted here.

Regular seminars and workshops for teachers help to keep the faculty members equipped with the fast changing technology.

Rumpus Room:

This large, bright, beautifully decorated room is equipped with toys, blocks, story books and a large TV and DVD set for educative purpose. Kindergarten students assemble here for story sessions, dance as well as indoor play. The entire hall has a wall-to-wall rubber mat to allow children to roll around and feel at home.

We have a spacious library stocked with encyclopedias and books selected for their informative and educational value catering to all age groups. Students are encouraged to form the reading habit and regular book reviews are the norm.

To make lessons more interesting, we have customised programme whereby topics are taught by integrating technology with studies. Basic concepts are expressed using audio visual aids. Classroom discussions are then held and thus ideas are explored on a greater platform.

We have a full-fledged computer laboratory that has Pentium processors with the latest software and complete networking. An independent work station is available for each student.

We have two swimming pools, a large one for older students and a similar shallow one for kindergarten students. The pools are covered and the water is temperature controlled. The two swimming teachers have life guard training as well.

Playground:

The Apple International School boasts of a turfed football field, a basketball court, a badminton court, a covered structured play area and a general play-ground.

Medical Care:

The school has a well-equipped clinic with a doctor, a full time nurse and helpers.

Counselling:

The school counsellor provides structured support for students who need extra attention. A close collaboration between the school, the counsellor, the parents and the student is a sure method for success.

Transport:

A fleet of air-conditioned buses operates on specified routes throughout Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.

Store:

All text books, exercise books, stationery and uniforms are available at the store.

Canteen:

The school canteen serves hygienic and nutritious snacks that are approved by the Ministry.

• Birth certificate photocopy.

Students transferring from another school in Dubai:

• A transfer certificate from the previous school. Students transferring from another Educational Zone in the U.A.E.
• A transfer certificate from the previous school attested by the previous Educational Zone.

Students transferring from another school overseas:

• A transfer certificate from the previous school attested by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & the U.A.E. Embassy of previous domicile.

Age Qualification of each Grade:

The children must attain the following ages on 15th Sept of the academic year of entry.
